How Can I Prepare For My Consultation?
A veterinary behavior consult is an investment in your pet's well-being and your relationship with them. By addressing behavioral issues proactively, you can help your pet live a happier, healthier life. To make the most of your consult:
Be Honest and Detailed: Provide as much information as possible, even if it seems insignificant. This is a judgement free zone!
Ask Your Pet’s Veterinarian to Email All Medical Records: to Dr. Becker
Take Videos: If possible, record videos of the problem behavior in different contexts (without putting yourself or your pet at risk).
Write Down Questions: Prepare a list of questions you have.
Be Patient: Behavioral changes take time and consistency.
