When to Consider a Behavior Consult

Behavior Issues in dogs and cats can be stressful and frightening for owners, potentially impacting the bond they share with their pets. Behavior problems can diminish the quality of life for both animals and their owners. The veterinary behavior consultation is a specialized appointment focused on understanding, diagnosing, and treating behavioral issues in pets. It's important to note that Dr. Becker is a veterinarian with a special focus on behavior. She is not a trainer; however, she may provide referrals to qualified trainers who can assist in implementing behavior-modification plans at home.
